How To Do The Utterly Impossible

Dreams

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is a guest post from John of HiLife2B, a blog on ‘Personal Improvement for a Good Life’.

“The impossible – what nobody can do until somebody does.”

Have you ever dreamed of doing something that you thought was simply unbelievable? A situation that seemed as if it would never happen to you?

I’m sure we’ve all had many dreams like this. Every night, we turn into superheroes saving the world, great leaders giving relief to millions, and explorers soaring through the sky.

After our adventures are complete, we wake up in the morning feeling both happy and frustrated. Happy because of the amazing dream we just experienced and frustration from the supposed “normalcy” of our lives.

No we can’t fly, obtain super powers, or save whole civilizations in one night (unless you’re into videogames), but we can still dream, right? I know what you’re thinking. “What’s the point of dreaming if it can’t come true? You’re telling me stuff I already know!”

Here’s something you don’t know: without our dreams NOTHING can be accomplished. The good dreams you have at night are basically precursors to the goals you make while you’re awake. Read more »

9 Steps to Turn off the Autopilot and Start Living Your Dreams

Attractive couple together on meadowEDITOR’S NOTE: This is a guest post by Alex Fayle of SomedaySyndrome.com.

When you go to sleep each night, do you nod off content with what you have accomplished? Are you even aware what you did, or are your days full of just getting by?

If the latter, you are likely living on autopilot, letting the world decide your actions for you. When you live on autopilot, you don’t make active choices and you follow through on expectations without ever stopping and thinking about what really matters to you and what would make you go to sleep at night fulfilled by the actions of the day.

Here are nine ways to figure out your dreams, turn off the autopilot and start living the life you really want. Read more »

About a month ago I published the first ‘community insight’ post called:

10 Signs Of A Healthy Heart | Community Insight

On The Lighter Side Of Things

I think this year’s Blog Action Day was a great success as I found myself ingesting vast amounts of new knowledge as well as clearing up old stereo types.  Challenging discussions ensued as once again the blogging community showed its wonderful ability to ‘hash out’ the many aspects of a subject.

But after an entire day of reading and thinking about poverty, I thought it might be nice to share some ‘lighter’ things with you guys.  So here’s a few pics I managed to drudge up that give you a little more insight into the world of ‘this redhead’. Read more »
