@Bonnie: 'Motiv8 List' is a definite possibility. I haven't really thought of anything myself. I think I will turn this into it's own post and maybe a page at some point. I like the idea of having a 'Motiv8 List' for many of the different things that distract us from living our lives to the fullest. I'll keep you posted.

Eric,
How about 'Motiv8 List'

Have you thought of something? I just thought your list was brilliant and a great quick way to recognize sneaky barriers to preserving my motivation.

@Bonnie: I certainly don't mind at all. This is a GREAT list! :-)

I really like how you kept the same format. You even used the 'Feel like crap' part. I think this is great because by keeping to the same format you are keeping a familiar feel to the list and making it easier to understand and/or relate to.

We should come up with a a name for these 'lists' or 'cycles' and encourage others to put their own spin on it.

@Everyone: See if you can't come up with your own version of this list. I talked about eating sweets, Bonnie came up with a great one for procrastination, so what area's do you struggle in that you could apply to this?

Loved your list of the neverending cycle so I made one based on yours (I hope that is okay with you!):
1. Procrastinate.
2. Feel good doing what I feel like doing.
3. Feel depressed and anxious about what needs to be done.
4. Lose all motivation to do anything worthwhile.
5. Feel like CRAP!
6. Try to reorganize to bring goals to forefront.
7. Feel a little better and say "I won't do that again".
8. Procrastinate...
I am going to look at this list every day. I think it will help me to remember the deadly cycle, before I even start it.
